Job Overview:

Blue Water Landscape is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of heavy equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Responsibilities:

- Perform electrical repairs and troubleshooting on heavy equipment

- Conduct brake repairs and replacements as needed

- Provide tire services, including repairs and replacements

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements

- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on heavy equipment

- Repair and service air brake systems on heavy trucks and trailers

- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs

Skills:

- Strong electrical knowledge and experience in diagnosing electrical issues

- Proficiency in brake repair and replacement procedures

- Experience with tire service, including repairs and replacements

- Knowledge of air brake systems on heavy trucks and trailers

- Ability to solder electrical connections when necessary

- Experience working on tractor-trailers is preferred but not required

- Experience in welding steel for small attachment repairs

- Proficient in using hand tools for mechanical repairs
